Health indicator System has been a important research topics in the health sciences. This study reviewed the overall concepts of health and health indicators, as well as health indicator system.
The purposes of this study is to suggest a health indicator system. The two part of this study used the conceptual or hierarchial approach to develope the health indicator system. The health indicator system that was suggested in this study cotains 2 areas and 8 sub-areas. The 2 areas are health status and conditions of health maintenance and promotion. The 8 sub-areas are death and disease, growth, prevention, nutrition, health resources, utilization of health care and level of medical care, health behavior.
